My name is Nicole. I started handling dogs at 10 years of age and since then i have become a very talented handler.
Over the years i have handled over 40 different breeds of dogs. I started with Basenji's then i went on to handling my mums German Shepherd Dogs.
My major awards in my junior handling career are:
2005 - Pedigree Runner-Up Overall Junior Handler in Queensland
2nd Place in the North Queensland Junior Dog World Competition
2006 - Pedigree Overall Junior Handler Winner in Queensland
Winner of the North Queensland Junior Dog World Competition
Overall Winner of the Easter Weekend Junior Handler Competition
2007 saw the last year of my Junior Handling career.
I was proud to achieve the following:
Pedigree Overall Junior Handler Winner in Queensland
That year i was placed in the top 6 Junior Handlers in Australia
again, Winner of the North Queensland Junior Dog World Competition
I have been commented on my handling ability by well known professional handlers and also overseas visitors. I have handled in Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and also New Zealand.
I qualified each year for the Pedigree Junior Handler State finals in Queensland. I only handle dogs that i feel are a good breed example. I have made some great friends in each state and hope to stay in contact with them as the years go by.
In August 2008 i had the pleasure of campaigning Aust Ch Schneeberg Oso Dazzlin 'Meika'. In the short time Meika was in North Qld she became an Australian Champion, Multi Best in Group Winner and a Class in Show Winner. I thank Schneeberg Kennels so very much for allowing Meika to have a holiday in North Qld. It was a very sad day when i had to give her back.
I eventually want to venture out with my own kennel prefix and breed my own quality dogs. I am a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse and i will always own purebred dogs.
